Reviews & awards | NAD T758 V3i

AREA DVD – XXL TEST: NAD T758 V3i

: This German review particularly praises the NAD’s power, dynamics, and responsiveness. According to the reviewer, the seven powerful output stages deliver top-tier performance within the price range around €1,499. However, the limited number of HDMI ports (only three inputs) and the connection terminals are seen as weaknesses.

FWD.nl

: This review praises the addition of Dirac Live to the T758 V3i as “fantastic,” and describes the receiver—with BluOS support and the latest 4K HDR standards—as a total package that may seem modest on paper but, in practice, “can blow you away.” In their view, the value for money is highly competitive.

Testberichte.de

: rates the NAD T758 V3i as “sehr gut (1.0)” and calls it a “Leistungsstarker Klangmeister” (powerful sound master). The review praises the “outstanding” sound quality, spatiality, and support for various sound profiles, while the limited connectivity is cited as a drawback despite the high price.

HiFiReport

: This review focuses on the speaker’s ability to reproduce fine details and sound texture. With Dirac Live enabled, the sound became coherent and immersive, while the advertised 60 W per channel performed surprisingly well, delivering excellent low-end reproduction even without a subwoofer.

CD

The Compact Disc (CD), like most inventions, did not appear out of thin air. After the invention of the laser in 1958, the first patent for optically readable disks was filed in 1961. The first digital video records were introduced in 1972. After a flop by Philips, the manufacturer, together with Sony, released the first CD in 1979. We do not know what it contained, but in 1982 the first CD was released for the market, it was the album Visitors by ABBA. In this year the first player became available and so began the elimination of the LP from the market. Many have literally thrown their LPs in the trash… we still see some visitors being disappointed when they tell us this.
