Background information
The Musical Fidelity Nu-Vista 300 Pre Amplifier is designed with attention to detail and precision in audio reproduction. The design was made possible in part by engineers who strive for the best sound quality, most notably Tony Michaelson. The amplifier uses Nuvistor tubes, known for their reliability and minimal microphonics. Components and materials are carefully selected for optimum performance and durability. The enclosure is rugged and aesthetically pleasing, often constructed of high-quality aluminum, which provides both strength and advanced heat dissipation. Internal wiring is of high quality and contributes to clear and natural sound. This amplifier is manufactured to strict quality standards that ensure excellent audio performance.
Brand history
Musical Fidelity was founded in the early 1980s and introduced its first product, the preamplifier, in 1982. In 1984, they launched the A1 integrated amplifier, which received high praise in the audio industry. Over the years, they released several important products, such as the Digilog, the first high-end DAC in 1987, and the now-iconic Nu-Vista preamplifier in 1997. Their products are known for using both modern technologies and traditional designs, such as the combination of tubes and transistors in certain devices.

CD

The first digital video records were introduced in 1972. After a flop by Philips, the manufacturer, together with Sony, released the first CD in 1979. We do not know what it contained, but in 1982 the first CD was released for the market, it was the album Visitors by ABBA. In this year the first player became available and so began the elimination of the LP from the market. Many have literally thrown their LPs in the trash… we still see some visitors being disappointed when they tell us this.
