The mid-sized speaker that also knows how to fill larger spaces. Yes indeed! They do. Both the tweeters and bass units make this possible. The generous spread of the treble provides a very loose midrange. The midrange can be called clean, certainly not warm, but note that does not mean this set does not give off a full soundstage.... the big bass supports the midrange very well, making the midrange come out full and rich to your ears.

The cabinet, constructed of rugged materials, uses internal bracing to reduce distortion. HiVe II port technology optimizes airflow, resulting in precise response in the low frequency range. The Monitor Audio Gold 300 6G was designed by Monitor Audio's in-house R&D team in the UK. The enclosure is made of HDF and features external bracing for minimal resonance. The speaker uses RDT II cone material in the woofers and midrange, providing rigidity without an increase in mass. The MPD horn-shaped tweeter is derived from the Platinum series. Internal wiring is PureFlow silver-plated copper.
