Since then, LUMIN has expanded its lineup to nine models, ranging in price points. All products share a focus on natural music playback, continuous software development and a seamless streaming experience. In recent years, LUMIN has added support for services such as Roon, MQA and Spotify. In addition, the company has introduced features such as Leedh Processing, a digital volume control technology. Reviews & awards | LUMIN U1 Mini

What Hi-Fi?

: The review praises the
Lumin U1 Mini
for its superior build quality, flawless sound, and fantastic app experience, but notes the lack of a paper manual, complete reliance on the app, and a less luxurious enclosure compared to the more expensive U1.

i-fidelity.net

: André Schwerdt calls the
U1 Mini
a thoroughly well-thought-out product with top-class streaming performance, ideal for audiophiles seeking reliability at the beginning of the signal chain, and says that the streamer allows the DAC to truly excel because it performs exceptionally well.

Hi-Fi Class (Poland)

: The reviewer notes that the
U1 Mini
is capable of matching the performance of an audio computer that has been optimized over many years, all in a compact, user-friendly, and maintenance-free device, with no obvious weaknesses aside from the lack of an internal update or complex USB driver issues.

Testberichte.de

: Ratings are “Very Good” (1.2), with praise for pure, detailed sound, excellent build quality, and great versatility in streaming options; criticism is directed at the lack of internal memory, the mediocre Android app, and the absence of Wi-Fi.

HiFi Knights

: The review emphasizes that the
U1 Mini
A clear step up from the old everyday player: a richer texture, better highs, and better separation of instruments, with music that sounds natural and lively; this device comes highly recommended—“you can’t get better for the money.”

CD

The first digital video records were introduced in 1972. After a flop by Philips, the manufacturer, together with Sony, released the first CD in 1979. In this year the first player became available and so began the elimination of the LP from the market. Many have literally thrown their LPs in the trash… we still see some visitors being disappointed when they tell us this.
