The housing is all-aluminum and designed for optimal shielding. Internally, an ES9028PRO DAC provides processing of DSD256 and PCM up to 384 kHz. Both XLR and RCA outputs are provided, with 6Vrms and 3Vrms output levels, respectively. Support for streaming services such as TIDAL, Qobuz and Spotify Connect is built-in, as is compatibility with AirPlay 2 and Roon. Network connectivity is via a gigabit Ethernet port. Control is via an app available for iOS, Android and macOS.

The LUMIN D3 is designed following the same philosophy as the high-end models: pure sound without compromise. It uses an all-aluminum enclosure with CNC-machined panels for optimal shielding. Internally, the D3 relies on a custom mains filter and an ES9028PRO DAC for precise conversion. LUMIN uses high-quality components selected by their in-house engineer Leedh Processing, known for lossless volume control.
