The EXN100 is a network player that brings digital music to life. At its heart is the ESS ES9028Q2M DAC, which supports PCM signals up to 32-bit/768kHz and DSD512. Thanks to the HDMI eARC connection, it improves the sound quality of televisions. Wireless connectivity is via Chromecast, AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth aptX HD. Control is possible with the StreamMagic app or a compatible remote control. The 25% larger color screen displays album covers and VU meters. Measuring 89 x 430 x 325 mm and weighing 4.15 kg, it fits into a variety of audio systems.
Cambridge Audio was founded in 1968 by a group of technology graduates in Cambridge, England. Its first product was the P40 amplifier, known at the time for its innovative use of a toroidal transformer. This design minimized noise and distortion, which improved sound quality. In the following years, the brand introduced various audio components, including the R50 speakers and the first DacMagic in 1995.
