What is the length of the AudioQuest NRG-Y3 power cable?
The AudioQuest NRG-Y3 is available in 1 m, 2 m, 3 m, 4.5 m and 6 m lengths.
What connectors does the NRG-Y3 power cable have?
The NRG-Y3 is equipped with an IEC-C13 connector at one end and a 3-pin wall plug (such as US, Schuko or UK) at the other end.
What material are the conductors of the NRG-Y3 made of?
The conductors are made of Semi-Solid Concentric Long-Grain Copper (LGC), which minimizes distortion due to grain boundaries.
What is the maximum current the NRG-Y3 can handle?
The NRG-Y3 is suitable for devices with current consumption up to about 10-13 A, depending on the application and regional standards.
Is the NRG-Y3 suitable for use with audio equipment?
Yes, the NRG-Y3 is designed as a low-distortion upgrade for audio and AV equipment, such as DACs, amplifiers and streamers.
What is the advantage of the ZERO-Tech technology in the NRG-Y3?
ZERO-Tech eliminates the electrostatic field between the high and low signal conductors, resulting in linear RF noise rejection and uncompressed transients.
How does directional shielding contribute to the performance of the NRG-Y3?
The directional silver-plated shielding conductors efficiently dissipate RF noise from the line and neutral shields to ground, resulting in a more powerful and dynamic sound.
Is the NRG-Y3 flexible enough for installation in tight spaces?
Yes, the NRG-Y3 is designed with a flexible construction and a compact IEC connector, making it suitable for use in confined spaces.
What devices can benefit from upgrading to the NRG-Y3 power cable?
Devices such as DACs, amplifiers, streamers, media players and other components with medium to high power consumption can benefit from the NRG-Y3.
