Description
Slim but wide! Yes yes, who doesn’t want that. Take up little space but fill the entire room. Play well outside the cabinets. A big and especially deep stage. A fast but soft high, and a midrange that leans toward the uncolored, and that is nice because the low supports this midrange, and makes it bigger.
The Audio Physic Scorpio is a floorstanding speaker known for its slim and elegant design. The enclosure is designed with a narrow front and a slight 7-degree rearward tilt, contributing to both aesthetics and sound quality.
Audio Physic was founded in 1985 in Brilon, Germany. The brand is known for its focus on loudspeakers with detailed sound reproduction. One of their first products was the Avanti, a floorstanding speaker that was groundbreaking at the time. In the 1990s, Audio Physic released the Medea, a loudspeaker that was praised by the international trade press for its accurate sound reproduction. Over the years, the brand has developed several reference speakers that are considered standards in the audio world. All speakers are handcrafted in Germany. The big name behind Audio Physic is Joachim Gerhard, one of the founders and main developers of the brand. Known for his ability to design speakers with exceptional sound quality, he was nicknamed “the Wizard” within the audio world. In addition to Gerhard, Manfred Diestertich, the current chief developer, also plays an important role in the ongoing development of the brand’s loudspeakers.
