General description | TAD ME1 -S
The TAD ME1-S is a compact bookshelf speaker known for its accurate sound reproduction and natural sound. Thanks to the Coherent Source Transducer (CST) driver, mid and high frequencies are seamlessly combined, resulting in a stable soundstage and realistic sound reproduction. The 16 cm woofer with a multi-layer aramid composite cone provides rich and smooth reproduction of mids and lows. The enclosure is equipped with a Bi-Directional Aero-Dynamic Slot (ADS) port, which produces natural and deep bass sounds despite its compact size. The TAD ME1-S is available in a titanium silver finish, contributing to a sophisticated look.

Developed under the direction of Andrew Jones, the TAD ME1 combines Japanese precision with high-end acoustics. The compact monitor uses the Coherent Source Transducer (CST) driver that reproduces mid and high frequencies from a single point for perfect timing. The cabinet is made of milled aluminum and plywood to minimize resonances. All parts are assembled by hand in Japan.
