The asymmetrical lute design of the Olympica Nova III contributes to improved sound reproduction by minimizing internal resonances. The enclosure is made of eight layers of curved wood, providing increased structural rigidity and reduced interference. The internal rib structure reduces vibration and supports the transducers, resulting in accurate and dynamic reproduction.
The Olympica Nova III features Sonus Faber's advanced acoustic technologies, including a 28 mm silk soft dome tweeter with DAD™ technology for extended high frequency performance. The custom-made midrange driver is made from an air-dried blend of cellulose pulp and natural fibers, providing a transparent and natural sound. The woofer cone uses an exclusive sandwich construction, consisting of two layers of cellulose pulp with a high-tech foam layer in between, ensuring fast and powerful sound reproduction.
