Description
Thick fun with this device, truly a master of detail and balance. Everything with ease. Tight lines in the sound, nothing overdone. Even at high volume it remains tight, clear and controlled. Danger! It is plumb heavy.

This amplifier system delivers 500 watts per channel at 8 ohms and 800 watts at 4 ohms, thanks to a dual-mono design with two custom-built transformers. This configuration provides powerful bass reproduction and accurate detail. Class AB amplification minimizes distortion and improves audio quality. Symmetrical XLR inputs provide a clean signal path, while patented British capacitors contribute to a stable power supply. With a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz and total harmonic distortion of less than 0.008%, the system delivers clear and precise sound. The signal-to-noise ratio of 120 dB ensures clean audio reproduction. The system weighs 59.9 kg and has dimensions of 485 mm wide, 238 mm high and 465 mm deep. Power consumption is 1200 watts during operation and less than 0.5 watts in standby.
The Rotel RA-1592 MKII was developed by Rotel’s in-house design team in Japan, with more than 60 years of experience in analog audio technology. The integrated amplifier uses a carefully selected Ringcore transformer, manufactured in-house, combined with high-quality capacitors. Only carefully selected components are used both inside and out. The chassis is robustly built for optimum performance and protection against interference.
Rotel was officially founded in 1961 and established as a family business in Japan. Development and production have always been managed internally, especially core components such as toroidal transformers that are essential for quality power. In 1981, Rotel began a long-term partnership with Bowers & Wilkins, leading to exclusive distribution in North America and several European markets. This relationship resulted in 2006 in a joint venture with shared manufacturing and logistics facilities in Zhuhai, China.
