The Pathos Aurium is a hybrid headphone amplifier designed and built in Italy. The tube section uses ECC88/6922 tubes for warm sound, combined with a solid-state output stage for power and control. The discrete class-A construction guarantees high sound quality. Designers Giorgio Paleari and Gaetano Zanini aimed for maximum musicality. The cabinet is solid aluminum and walnut, with internal point-to-point cabling for minimal signal contamination. Everything is handmade in Vicenza.
