Description
The Meridian Sooloos Control 10 is a touchscreen controller that provides access to your music collection. With a 17-inch LCD screen and intuitive interface, you easily navigate through your library. The device has a slot-loading CD drive for importing music. Thanks to its fanless design, the Control 10 is quiet and suitable for listening environments. The enclosure is made of machined aluminum. For connectivity, the Control 10 uses standard TCP/IP Ethernet and is compatible with Meridian’s SpeakerLink and other protocols. This enables integration with other Meridian components. The Control 10 can be combined with storage and source components to form a complete audio system. The device is designed for ease of use and flexibility in managing and playing digital music.
The Meridian Sooloos Control 10 is designed as an intuitive control center for the Sooloos digital audio system. It combines a 17-inch touchscreen in an aluminum housing with high-quality audio components. The interface runs on a specially developed operating system aimed at quick access to digital music collections. Developed in the UK according to Meridian’s philosophy of minimal signal processing and maximum sound integrity.
Meridian Audio, based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, was founded in 1977 by John Robert Stuart and Allen Boothroyd. Since the company’s founding, all Meridian products have been built in the United Kingdom. It was the first British company to produce a CD player in 1983. The Meridian MCD, launched in 1985, was the first audiophile CD player on the market. Meridian also created the first digital surround sound processor, the 565 in 1994, as well as the first DSP-based digital active speakers. We have had these speakers regularly and they sound very smooth and quiet. No unnecessary spectacle, but absolute quietness in the reproduction.
