Description
The Frérot is equipped with a Burr Brown 1794A DAC chip, the same technology used in its bigger brother, the DAC1. This ensures a natural and detailed sound reproduction. The device features several inputs, including USB, two RCA and two optical Toslink connections, making it easy to integrate into various audio systems.
The analog output is both balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA), offering flexibility when connecting to amplifiers or other audio equipment. The discrete Class A output amplifiers contribute to the warm and musical sound that characterizes the Frérot.
With its compact size and solid construction, the Frérot is suitable for a variety of listening environments, from the living room to a second home. The unit was designed with attention to detail and quality, resulting in a DAC that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
