The M2Tech hiFace Evo is a versatile digital audio interface that bridges the gap between your computer and your hi-fi system’s digital input channel. With an array of outputs, including S/PDIF, AES/EBU, Toslink and I2S, it offers flexibility to drive a variety of digital audio devices. The hiFace Evo supports a variety of audio formats and can be powered via the USB bus or an external power supply. An external clock input enables accurate clock synchronization, contributing to improved sound quality. The included remote control makes it easy to adjust settings and switch between different inputs.
Founded in 2007 by Marco Manunta, M2Tech focuses on the development and production of electronic audio components. Based in Italy, the brand released its first product, the hiFace USB-S/PDIF converter, in 2009. In 2011, the Young D/A converter was presented, followed by the Evo series including the Evo DDC and Evo DAC Two. In 2016, M2Tech introduced the Rockstars line, consisting of individual components aimed at different applications. The first products in this series included the Crosby amplifier, the Nash phono stage and the Young MkIII D/A converter. M2Tech designs products in-house and collaborates with accredited Italian universities for research. Manufacturing takes place in Italy.
