Description

Description Freakuence!
After the A6 and the A6 Master, this A8 is finally here. Lots of functionality, functions smoothly. It easily surpasses the previous models and that is super, it proves itself trouble-free and we are happy to let you judge that.
Details
A Freakreturn! is a webshop return, but one from Freakuence!, so that’s fine. It is an online order that has been returned. This can be because of a color you don’t like, but also because of the character. So these products are no more than a few days old and come with the full manufacturer’s warranty AND…. much more importantly, with 100% Freakservice!, hupsakee.
Because we are dealers of this brand, we are happy to offer you the full dealer warranty on this particular product! Why? We are confident and this assurance is sure to make it more enjoyable.

The system runs on Android 11, with an intuitive user interface, providing easy operation via the screen or a companion app.

The Eversolo DMP-A8 was designed by the team at Zidoo, including chief engineer Tom Wang. The player combines DAC, Streamer and preamplifier in one. The housing is CNC-machined from solid aluminum for optimal vibration damping. It uses high-quality components such as an ESS Sabre ES9038Pro DAC and separate power supplies for digital and analog. Internal wiring is carefully shielded.
Brand history
Eversolo is a relatively new brand that emerged in recent years under the umbrella of Zidoo, a Chinese manufacturer originally focused on media streamers and home entertainment products. The DMP-A6 Master Edition is a product of Eversolo and was developed by a team of engineers and technicians with expertise in digital and analog technologies. The brand focuses specifically on high-quality audio playback and digital-to-analog conversion. Zidoo itself was founded by a group of professionals with experience in the electronics and entertainment industry, paving the way for the creation of Eversolo. The DMP-A6 reflects the technological knowledge present within the team, with a specific emphasis on the precision of audio processing. The name “Eversolo” symbolizes a commitment to sustainability and solitude in the design and production of their devices.

USB ports can transport up to the highest possible bit rate. Although sometimes they are only for connecting an external drive.

The I2S input allows virtually error-free transmission.

Optical input, interference-free and therefore proven to be the better option with some dacs, although they are often limiting in bitrate (yet there are dacs that let in up to 24 bit/192 kHz). The cable used is hugely important we can report, we’d be happy to let you assess these differences.

SPDIF is the abbreviation for Sony/Philips Digital Interface Format. (Nice that we, as a small country, have had influence there!) It is a standard for the transmission of a digital signal between, for example, a streamer or CD drive to dac. The cable used makes quite a difference in playback. A standard cable shows mostly a messy and abundant low, and the middle and high sludge into a mess. There are many who dispute this. Be skeptical, but there has to be a time for evaluation.

CD

Many have literally thrown their LPs in the trash… we still see some visitors being disappointed when they tell us this.
