Details
This is your chance to finally get demo material from the coolest shop in the universe. Yeah! Actually worth a lot more than the new price for this but we’ll restrain ourselves. Only used for listening sessions with our visitors, no private owner.
We’re happy to accept trade-ins for new equipment so we can do something fun with it! Please let us know what you might have to trade in. Of course, this is also available without a trade-in. We deliver 100% new in a sealed box, but we thought it would be fun to snap a quick photo of our demo model. Stop by for a demo in one of our 5 listening rooms! Other configurations are also available.

Looking for another type from the brand’s current series? Send a message! We like to make something fun.

Background information
The Arcam Radia ST25 was designed in the United Kingdom by the Arcam team, including chief engineer Nick Clarke. The ST25 uses high-quality ESS ES9018 DACs and a dedicated linear power supply for stable, low-noise operation. The enclosure is all-metal, designed for optimal shielding and minimal vibration. The internal construction is with separation of analog and digital sections for better signal integrity. The Radia series focuses on clean aesthetics and high-quality sound.
Brand history
Arcam was founded in 1976 in Cambridge, United Kingdom. The first product the company launched was the A60, an integrated amplifier that achieved iconic status and sold more than 30,000 copies. Arcam expanded its range in 1986 with the first CD player designed and manufactured entirely in the UK. In 1988, Arcam released the Black Box, one of the first stand-alone DACs (Digital to Analogue Converter) for CD playback. In the 1990s, Arcam introduced the Xeta 1, the first AV amplifier for audiophiles, and developed the world’s first DAB tuner for home use in 1999.

CD

The Compact Disc (CD), like most inventions, did not appear out of thin air. After the invention of the laser in 1958, the first patent for optically readable disks was filed in 1961. The first digital video records were introduced in 1972. After a flop by Philips, the manufacturer, together with Sony, released the first CD in 1979. We do not know what it contained, but in 1982 the first CD was released for the market, it was the album Visitors by ABBA. In this year the first player became available and so began the elimination of the LP from the market. Many have literally thrown their LPs in the trash… we still see some visitors being disappointed when they tell us this.
