Wood. With its many shades and veins, it flames. Wood is warmth. Wooden instruments feel and sound warmer, as do floors of the workable material. Wood in the living environment creates cozy feelings. Wood for the chopper, wood for the crafter, wood for the fires, wood for the heat. We try to preserve just a little bit of that heat here.
Wooden beams from floor to ceiling create a pleasant acoustic diffusion. Coarse masonry stone fills the space around the fireplace that seems to quietly accompany the music. The combination of wood and stone creates a special display, the feeling of being in a larger space than it appears. All frequencies are nicely spread out here and the lows wander easily around the room while maintaining focus. Take a seat, relax and look deep into the jungle.
