The successor to the A1, and how. This S1 plays a lot quieter (all relative best followers, the A1 is fantastic), the midrange is fuller, less screaming, it is less forced. Lumin is not known for being reserved, they develop products there that are allowed to let everything be heard. Taste is important of course, but also the synergy in your system…. We can indicate some amplifiers we absolutely do not want to hear it on. Feel free to ask for advice! <\/span><\/div>\n

With an enclosure crafted from a single block of aluminum, this music streaming device offers support for DSD128 and PCM up to 384kHz. It features a dual Wolfson WM8741 DAC configuration and a fully balanced design. The Gigabit Ethernet connection ensures a stable network connection, while compatibility with various music formats, including FLAC, Apple Lossless (ALAC), WAV and MP3, offers a wide choice of listening options. The LUMIN A1 was designed by the Hong Kong-based LUMIN team as the brand’s first product. The design combines audiophile performance with ease of use, developed by a team with experience in high-end audio and software. The enclosure is milled entirely from solid aluminum for optimal shielding and vibration damping. Internally, they use high-quality ESS SABRE DACs and a linear power supply. <\/span><\/div>\n

In 2012, LUMIN introduced the world’s first network player capable of playing DSD files. After two years of development and hundreds of hours of critical listening, this product was launched with a single forum post. Since then, LUMIN has expanded its lineup to nine models, ranging in price points. All products share a focus on natural music playback, continuous software development and a seamless streaming experience. In recent years, LUMIN has added support for services such as Roon, MQA and Spotify. In addition, the company has introduced features such as Leedh Processing, a digital volume control technology.
