This 12-inch (300 mm) three-way speaker system features a cast-frame woofer with dual-spider pure pulp cone, a 5.25-inch (130 mm) polymer-coated pure pulp cone midrange driver and a 1-inch (25 mm) titanium dome tweeter coupled to an acoustic lens and waveguide. The frequency range extends from 40 Hz to 40 kHz (-6 dB), with cutoff frequencies at 450 Hz and 3.5 kHz. Sensitivity is 90 dB (2.83V\/1m) and impedance is 4 ohms. Recommended amplifier power is between 25 and 200 watts RMS. The system is finished with a walnut veneer and comes with a Quadrex foam grille in black, orange or blue. Optional JS-120 or JS-150 floor stands are available. <\/span><\/div>\n

The JBL L100 MKII is a modern reissue of the iconic L100 speakers from the 1970s. The design was taken in hand by engineer Chris Hagen. The speakers combine classic aesthetics with advanced audio technology. They use a 12-inch pure pulp woofer, a 5.25-inch polymer-coated mid-range driver and a 1-inch titanium dome tweeter. The cabinet of the L100 MKII is solidly built and finished with a walnut veneer, and the signature Quadrex foam grille is available in three colors. JBL was founded in 1946 by James B. Lansing. In 1970, the brand introduced the L100 loudspeaker, which became the best-selling loudspeaker in JBL’s history. In 1969, JBL was acquired by Sidney Harman and integrated into Harman International Industries.
