The REL T9\/X SE is an active subwoofer that takes your sound reproduction to the next level. With a 10-inch long-stroke FibreCarbon\u2122 driver and a 10-inch FibreAlloy\u2122 passive radiator, this subwoofer delivers deep, tight bass that integrates seamlessly with your main speakers. The 300-watt RMS Class A\/B amplifier delivers powerful and controlled bass, bringing your music and movies to life. <\/p>\n

Thanks to its advanced driver technology and carefully designed cabinet design, the REL T9\/X SE offers impressive dynamics and detail in the low end. Background information<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n
The REL T\/9x SE is a special edition subwoofer with refinements that further optimize performance. Designed by REL’s experienced engineering team, including John Hunter, the subwoofer focuses on precision and power. High-quality materials such as lightweight alloys and durable, sonorous woods were chosen for the cabinet. Internal wiring is audiophile-grade to ensure signal integrity. REL pays close attention to the finish, applying multiple coats of lacquer for a luxurious look. <\/span><\/div>\n
Brand history<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n
REL Acoustics was founded by Richard Edmund Lord, born in 1939. After a stint as a radio operator in the merchant marine, he founded the company with the goal of building the best subwoofers. In 1990, REL introduced the High Level Input, which derives the input signal from the power amplifier, allowing for seamless integration with speakers. In 1998, the company developed the ABC Input Filters and High Current Amplifiers, focused on precise crossover settings and providing sufficient power for subwoofer drivers. After an acquisition in 2005, new ideas and technologies were introduced, including NaturalSound Filtering in 2007 and Carbon Fibre Driver Cones in 2010.
