The KEF KC62 is a compact subwoofer that delivers deep, accurate bass for an immersive music, movie or gaming experience. Thanks to innovative Uni-Core\u2122 technology, the KC62 combines two 16.5 cm force-cancelling drivers in an enclosure that is significantly smaller than traditional designs. These drivers are driven by a specially developed 1000 W RMS Class D amplifier, providing powerful and controlled bass response. <\/p>\n

With a frequency response that extends to 11 Hz, the KEF KC62 offers impressive depth of soundstage. The subwoofer is equipped with five preset Room Placement EQ functions, making it effortlessly adapt to different room placements, such as free-standing, against a wall or in a corner. This ensures consistent sound and dynamics regardless of the setup. <\/p>\n

The KC62 is compatible with various audio systems and can be easily integrated via RCA phono\/Cinch inputs or speaker level inputs. For wireless connectivity, the subwoofer is compatible with the KEF KW1 adapter. The extruded aluminum enclosure combines functionality with a stylish design to match any interior. <\/p>\n

The KEF KC62 is an ultra-compact subwoofer that leverages advanced technologies such as the Uni-Core design approach developed by the team of engineers at KEF. Brand history<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n
KEF was founded in 1961 in Maidstone, Kent, by former BBC ringmaster Raymond Cooke. The name is derived from Kent Engineering & Foundry, the site on which its first headquarters was located. In its early years, the company developed products using synthetic materials and mathematical models. KEF introduced the Reference concept in 1973, where each pair of systems was electronically matched. In the 1980s, KEF used digital technologies to optimize production. In 1988, the first computer-aided acoustic measurement system was used. Uni-Q driver technology was introduced in 1988 and has since been used in several models. KEF has had collaborations with outside designers, including Ross Lovegrove. In 2011, the Blade, the first model based on the single point source concept, was released. KEF has offices worldwide, including Hong Kong, Germany, France, Japan and the US.
