This floorstanding three-way system is designed with advanced techniques that optimize bass performance. Two 6-inch bass drivers and a 3-inch midrange driver work together for detailed bass and midrange. The MPD III tweeter provides a wide frequency range up to 60 kHz, with tight and controlled treble. The cabinet, constructed of rugged materials, uses internal bracing to reduce distortion. HiVe II port technology optimizes airflow, resulting in precise response in the low frequency range. The system delivers consistent performance regardless of the room or amplifier used. <\/span><\/div>\n

The Monitor Audio Gold 300 6G was designed by Monitor Audio’s in-house R&D team in the UK. The enclosure is made of HDF and features external bracing for minimal resonance. The speaker uses RDT II cone material in the woofers and midrange, providing rigidity without an increase in mass. The MPD horn-shaped tweeter is derived from the Platinum series. Internal wiring is PureFlow silver-plated copper. <\/span><\/div>\n

Monitor Audio was founded in 1972 by Mo Iqbal in a small factory in Teversham, near Cambridge, England. The first loudspeaker the company produced was the MA1, assembled by hand by Iqbal and a small team of engineers. Over the years, the company reached several important milestones, including the introduction of the Platinum series in 2007.
