The Stax SRM-T8000 is a hybrid electrostatic headphone amplifier that combines a tube preamp with a class-A solid-state output stage. Designed specifically to drive electrostatic headphones, this amplifier offers detailed and dynamic sound reproduction. <\/p>\n

Two 6922 double-triode tubes are used in the input stage, providing a warm and natural sound. The output stage uses a Class-A solid-state design, which contributes to accurate and transparent sound reproduction. This combination results in a wide soundstage with excellent dynamics and detail reproduction. <\/p>\n

The SRM-T8000 features both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs, making it easy to integrate into a variety of audio systems. The technology of STAX ear speakers is based on electrostatic drive, where ultra-thin diaphragms are driven between two electrodes.
