The Michi P5 S2, developed by Rotel, is a paragon of luxury audio engineering. The design team, including Chief Engineer Daren Orth, puts the focus on sonic integrity and premium components. They use 17 independent power regulators and the very best DACs from ESS SABRE for accurate sound reproduction. The cabinet is made of sturdy aluminum for minimal resonance. The internal wiring is carefully chosen for optimal signal routing. Assembly takes place in Japan, with only the best materials sourced worldwide to ensure the highest quality. <\/span><\/div>\n
Brand history<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n
Michi is a sub-brand of the Japanese company Rotel, introduced in the 1990s as a range of high-quality audio equipment. The original Michi products, such as the RHC-10 preamplifier and the RHB-10 power amplifier, were characterized by their silver finish and red-colored sides. This line was aimed primarily at the Japanese market, but soon found worldwide success due to its superior audio performance and use of classic Japanese rosewood side panels. After several years, production of the original Michi line was discontinued. In 2019, Rotel revived the Michi brand with the introduction of new models, including the P5 preamplifier, the S5 stereo power amplifier and the M8 monoblock power amplifier.
