General description<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n
The amplifier delivers a continuous output of 80 watts per channel at both 8 and 4 ohms. In bridge mode, this increases to 300 watts at 8 ohms. Selectable balanced and single-ended line inputs make it compatible with a variety of preamplifiers and processors. Variable input control facilitates optimal matching with other components. A line output allows connection of additional amplifiers or subwoofers. The auto-on function with adjustable threshold offers ease of use, while the 12V trigger in\/out connections support integration into complex systems. The switching power supply delivers nearly 200 watts of continuous and more than 500 watts of peak power, resulting in efficient performance. The design utilizes a custom Hypex UcD output stage, which provides high power output with minimal distortion and noise within the audible range. <\/span><\/div>\n

The NAD C268 is a stereo power amplifier designed according to NAD’s well-known “nad sound” philosophy: pure, powerful and without unnecessary frills. Developed by the NAD team led by Bj\u00f8rn Erik Edvardsen, the C268 uses an efficient Class D amplifier module with a custom Hypex UcD output stage. The enclosure is rugged and low resonance.
