With a slim profile and an enclosure made of advanced materials, the Curve offers a listening experience that is both visually and aurally appealing. The speaker is equipped with custom Wilson Benesch drivers, including a 170 mm Tactic bass\/midrange unit and a 25 mm soft-dome tweeter, which together provide clear and detailed sound over the full frequency range. The enclosure is designed to minimize resonances, resulting in accurate and natural sound reproduction. With a sensitivity of 88 dB and an impedance of 6 ohms, the Curve is suitable for a variety of amplifiers and listening environments. The design team, led by Craig Milnes, uses curved sandwich panels of high-quality curved plywood with aluminum end plates. This ensures minimal coloration of the sound. Internally, the speaker incorporates A.C.T. Monocoque technology, derived from aerospace applications. All components, including drivers and enclosure, are developed and manufactured in-house in Sheffield, UK, for optimal control over quality and performance.    <\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"specification-item row-header\"><span class=\"spec-content\"><strong>Brand history<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"specification-item row-even\"><span class=\"spec-content\">Wilson Benesch was founded in 1989 and is based in Sheffield, United Kingdom. The company focuses on the design and manufacture of products using advanced materials such as carbon fiber, precision-machined metals and composites. A milestone in the brand&#8217;s history was the introduction of the A.C.T. One in 1991, which used a carbon-fiber body for the first time. This was followed in 1997 by the launch of a proprietary driver technology with the Tactic Drive Unit, building on materials and design principles developed in-house. Further product launches include the Odyssey Range, Geometry Series and the Cardinal. Wilson Benesch conducts extensive in-house development processes, including component and enclosure manufacturing in its own facilities.
