With a cabinet design that uses Matrix bracing, the 802D offers solid and controlled sound reproduction. The combination of a Kevlar FST midrange driver and dual Rohacell bass drivers provides a balanced and detailed sound. The 802D is suitable for both music and home theater systems. The company grew out of Bowers&#8217; passion for sound engineering, which he developed while working in an electronics store. John Bowers was a perfectionist with a strong commitment to acoustic precision. In the years that followed, the company grew under Bowers&#8217; leadership, playing a central role until his death in 1987. The focus was on research and development, with the team bringing innovations in sound reproduction technology.
