The Revel C205 is a 2-way center speaker designed to deliver clear and accurate sound. With its ribbed aluminum cones and a 1-inch aluminum dome tweeter with acoustic lens waveguide, this speaker offers consistent sound reproduction over a wide listening area. The enclosure, finished in high-gloss piano black, piano white or high-gloss walnut, is crafted with fully curved panels that minimize resonances. The magnetic grille mount provides a sleek look with no visible fasteners. <\/span><\/div>\n

The Revel C205 is a Concerta2 Series compact center speaker designed by Harman International’s team led by engineer Kevin Voecks. The speaker uses a 1-inch aluminum dome tweeter with waveguide and dual 5.25-inch aluminum woofers for accurate reproduction and wide-radius behavior. The cabinet is solidly braced and finished in piano gloss lacquer, internally wired to Harman’s exacting standards. <\/span><\/div>\n

Revel was founded in 1996 as part of Madrigal Audio Laboratories. Product development began with extensive measurement and listening tests to minimize variability in perception. In 2002, Revel became part of Harman International. After the acquisition, the company continued its existing design and testing procedures, utilizing Harman’s testing facilities, including a state-of-the-art acoustical laboratory with multiple patented measurement instruments. Product development is based on measurements, comparative listening tests and double-blind evaluations. Design and tuning include the use of a standard reference protocol that measures frequency response, radiation behavior and distortion.
